{"id":449,"date":"2015-01-02T15:28:42","date_gmt":"2015-01-02T20:28:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pentecostalmusicians.com\/PMblog\/?p=449"},"modified":"2015-01-02T17:55:34","modified_gmt":"2015-01-02T22:55:34","slug":"welcome-to-melody-lines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pentecostalmusicians.com\/PMblog\/?p=449","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to Melody Lines!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino;\">Hi!\u00a0 Welcome to the<em><strong> Melody Lines Music Blog!\u00a0<\/strong><\/em> My name is Pam Rentzel and I\u2019ve been a Pentecostal Musician for more years than many of you have been alive!\u00a0 I guess you could call me \u201cOld School.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino;\">\u00a0 <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino;\">About 20 years ago, I started a newsletter called <em><strong>\u201cMelody Lines\u201d<\/strong> <\/em>written especially for musicians who minister by playing piano, organ or keyboard in Pentecostal churches.\u00a0 In 1999 we launched our first website dedicated to Pentecostal Musicians at <a title=\"www.pentecostalmusicians.com \" href=\"http:\/\/www.pentecostalmusicians.com\" target=\"_blank\">www.pentecostalmusicians.com<\/a>.\u00a0 Our on-line Newsletter was also called <em><strong>\u201cMelody Lines\u201d<\/strong><\/em> and discussed subjects pertinent to being a successful Pentecostal Musician.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua,palatino;\">With the advent of social media tools, we have decided to do a <em><strong>Pentecostal Musicians <\/strong><\/em>Facebook page and\u00a0blog!\u00a0\u00a0 If you are interested in being part of this music group on Facebook, please click\u00a0on <em><strong>&#8220;<a title=\"Play This--Not That!\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PlayThisNotThat\" target=\"_blank\">Play This&#8211;Not That!<\/a>&#8221;
